In a world full of hard seltzers, kombuchas, energy drinks, welcome in Glish, a groundbreaking line of beverages that is all-natural, vegan, Non-GMO, caffeine free and gluten-free. Glish was created from custom-made flavors perfectly balanced and synchronized with naturally-pressed ginger juice that provides a plethora of functional benefits.
Glish was founded during the pandemic by Rushabh and Ashita Shah in San Francisco.
“I was lucky enough to be staying with my parents during the lockdown. Within the first few months, we realized that while we ate the same meals, we couldn’t all agree on what to drink with them,” Rushabh says. “There were incredibly limited options that both the kids and grandparents couldn’t agree on. My parents couldn’t drink kombucha or a prebiotic soda, and the kids didn’t like sparkling water. There wasn’t a beverage that was simple, yet functional, without compromising on the overall taste.”
After several rounds of trial and error, they found the perfect taste for the healthy, non-alcoholic beverage.
“The reason my wife and I decided to create Glish was to make a beverage that is fun, truly guilt-free, and that can be consumed by kids, parents, and grandparents. In totality, it is a sparkling beverage that is made for your family, by a family.”
Drink Glish is a sparkling beverage with ginger as its root ingredient. The beverage comes in three flavors: Chai-Spice ginger, Yuzu ginger, and Mango ginger. All three are intentionally infused with ginger in its purest and most natural form, packing the drink with countless health benefits such as antioxidant properties, immunity, gut support, and anti-inflammatory support.
The Shahs believes that having quality and nourishing ingredients is what makes their sparkling beverage so enticing. They wanted the brand’s products to be as healthy as possible, given the industry’s notoriety for promoting unhealthy products to consumers.
Ashita, who has a background in food chemistry, took thoughtful consideration with each ingredient and flavor profile. Her main role is to ensure any product she works on focuses on the basic principles of food science. From there, she creates a beverage product that is simple, yet still enjoyable for the whole family.
The drink is made without any artificial ingredients, and one Glish only contains six to eight grams of sugar — equivalent to less than 10 percent of a person’s everyday sugar consumption.
“It’s delightful and tart,” Ashita says. “It is best served cold, and its clean ingredients leave you lively and rejuvenated.”
Glish believes that a passion for food and drinks unites generations together to celebrate and have fun. Having quality and wholesome options of food and beverages are a must this summer and beyond. Since the creation of Glish brought the Shah family closer together, they hope consuming it does the same for others, too.
The company goes a step further in personalizing the Glish experience for its consumers by creating flavor-centric Spotify playlists to accompany the delicious drinks. Everyday can be an adventure. Need a morning pick-me-up or Jam out to tracks with Glish.
