Michael Francis, founder and proprietor of the Francis Firm Injury Attorneys, yearned to be an attorney at a young age and learned the value of helping people early in his career.
Beginnings
A product of Texas through and through, Francis graduated from Southlake Carroll High School in Southlake, Texas, in 1986. He earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Texas in 1990 and his JD from UT in 1992.
Francis’s first steps into the legal profession was as an insurance defense lawyer fighting for insurance providers and their insureds in claims stemming from automobile and truck accidents.
Though he achieved success, Francis wanted more from his career.

Francis ultimately decided to take the leap and start his own firm devoted to standing up for accident victims.
Today, his firm handles cases covering all facets of personal injury law, such as the common car and truck accidents but also motorcycle, bicycle, rideshare, pedestrian, construction, premises liability, product liability, and wrongful death.
Since starting his firm, he has successfully earned clients more than $50 million in compensation through verdicts and settlements.

“I overcame these risks with hard work, successful results, and assuring referrals from happy clients,” he said.
Other Notable Achievements
Francis’s proudest achievement outside the courtroom is becoming a Certified Personal Injury Trial Lawyer.
To receive this distinction, one must take and pass a difficult certification exam, have successfully litigated a significant number of personal injury trial cases, demonstrated that a predominant amount of their practice specializes in personal injury law, and judges and opposing counsel attest to the applicant’s skills and legal knowledge.
Only two percent of those applying for certification earn this honor.
Additionally, Francis has received recognition as one of the Top 10 Lawyers by the American Institute of Personal Injury Attorneys and as a National Lawyer of Distinction by the National Top 100 Trial Lawyers Organization.
To top it all off, he was given a top AV ranking by the renowned Martindale-Hubbell rating system.
Francis is also a member of MENSA.
Future Aspirations
Francis humbly wishes to continue to meet the needs of his clients.
“I love what I do and see myself continuing to help one client at a time,” he said.
