One of the first things you notice when you enter a classroom or office is a whiteboard. Despite the arrival of digital media, whiteboards are standard in conference rooms, classrooms, offices, events, lecture halls, and staff and maintenance rooms.

A whiteboard calendar has grids or slots that can be used to jot down important points, events, and instructions or even mention your daily chores. It can be helpful in many situations. Here are many reasons why dry erase whiteboards are the preferred choice for many.

Designs, Materials, and Types

There are several designs of whiteboards, but the basic design has a one-month calendar format. The basic whiteboard features a 7 x 5 grid with labels for each week. It also has an empty slot which is used to indicate the month.

You can use the grid to fill in the month or days by yourself. A whiteboard is helpful in corporate and learning environments where you have to keep records and track many things during a given period.

You can buy a whiteboard calendar with a monthly format, or you can get a full-year calendar with a separate column for each month. Each month will have a row with 31 slots for days in the month. You can mount these calendars on walls in common rooms or staff rooms and jot down important events in the calendar for employees to see and take note of it.

Dry Erase WhiteboardsCustomization Options

Though the whiteboard has a white background and the grid is painted in black, there are numerous ways to customize the whiteboard.

For example, you can use permanent-color pens to decorate or accessorize it. Some whiteboards have additional space to pin notes, colorful cards, or decorate the whiteboard.

Ease of Writing and Erasing

You can use colored sketch pens to jot down information on the whiteboard calendar. The information does not get rubbed easily, and you need a dry erase whiteboard eraser to wipe it clean. With a whiteboard, you can always write additional instructions later or erase some information if there are any last-minute changes to the schedule or program.

The grids on the calendar are created using permanent inks, and they will not get rubbed when you erase information in the slots written by sketch pens. It means you don’t have to worry about creating new month grids every month. Also, you don’t have to be extra careful while wiping the whiteboard, as dry erase will not erase the grids.

More Presentable

The whiteboard is more presentable than a blackboard that uses chalk for jotting down information. The whiteboard pen writes clean, and no dust or chalk powder in the room needs to be cleaned after. The pens can be refilled easily when they run out of ink.

Easier to Read

The writing on the whiteboard is much easier to read than chalk writing on the blackboard. In most classrooms, the black marker is used to write on the whiteboard, and the color contrast ensures even the person sitting on the last bench can see the information. The dry erase whiteboard allows users to use a range of colored markers to separate information and make it easier to understand.
