How To Embrace Your Personality Type For Success

With personality types reaching across a broad spectrum, there are many elements of your personal traits that you can bring to the boardroom to boost your career.

Rather than figuring out what things you need to focus on, we’ve done the hard for you but putting together a cheat sheet and rounding up the most typical personality types according to the Myers-Briggs test.

The Debater

Debaters are especially great at one thing – you guessed it, weighing up the details to find innovative and creative solutions to problems. A Debater personality type is extroverted, intuitive, thinking, and prospecting, meaning they have the confidence to voice their solutions and help a on a broad scale.

If you’re an ENTP, then you’ll find great success in with ease.

The Mastermind

The mastermind is predominantly introverted, with skills that will help them climb up the ladder. Known for their superb problem-solving skills, a Mastermind is an INTJ personality, meaning they are introverted, intuitive, thinking, and judging.

These are fantastic attributes for any hoping to be successful in life. Lean into your instincts, and you could even have your own successful business.

The Architect

Architects are INTP personalities, meaning they are introverted, intuitive, thinking, and prospecting.

This makes for an incredibly logical being who is able to navigate through complex situations by working out creative solutions that are outside the box. If you’re INTP, then lean into the wackier side of your personality to bring something different to the workplace.

The Commander

Commanders are extroverted characters who are also intuitive, thinking, and judging, so they can make clear and concise decisions without too much trouble. Commanders excel when they are taking direction, so if you’re an ENTJ, then don’t be afraid to take the reins and articulate your plans – they’re most likely a great solution to whatever issue your team is facing.

The Provider

The provider is extroverted, observant, feeling, and judging, meaning they are fantastic at helping others and being wary of others’ needs. They are emotionally intelligent and are liked by others.

These are great traits to have in the workplace, so if you identify as ESFJ, then don’t be afraid to stand up for your colleagues and affirm yourself as the head of a team. You have the right skills to be a great leader and nurture your staff.

The Supervisor

ESTJ Supervisors excel when they’re using their extroverted, observant, thinking, and judging skills to make methodical decisions that are for the benefit of a wider team.

If you’re a Supervisor personality, then show off your organizational skills to the powers that be around your workplace.

The Inspector

Inspectors are able to use their introverted, observant, thinking, and judging skills in a similar way to a Supervisor; however, they display their penchant for neatness and extreme organization.

If you’re looking to impress as an ISTJ personality, then prove how you can effortlessly create order within your workplace.
