Electric cars are becoming more of a trend in society today. The new advancement in technology is rapidly integrating into the everyday life of many individuals. Since introducing electric cars, Tesla has become one of the biggest names involved in the business. When talking about electric vehicles, Tesla always comes up in the conversation.

In the past, electric cars were only seen on TV shows. However, electric vehicles have been everywhere over the past few years. The electric car industry is a business sector just opening up to the world, and many car companies are starting to have their own electric car models.

Even though the introduction of electric cars began with Elon Musk and Tesla, many other car companies have their own electric vehicles on the road. With continuous technological advancement, many companies are looking into electric cars. They have developed their own models, like Kia’s new electric car.

Other Electric Car Models

Porsche Taycan

As expected of one of the world’s biggest car companies, Porshe did not disappoint in its first attempt to create an electric vehicle. The product of their time in the workshop is the Porsche Taycan. The Porsche Taycan is one of the electric vehicles recognized as competition for Tesla.

The Porsche Taycan is sleek, with four doors and standard all-wheel drive. The car contains an infotainment screen that owners can use to control most functions. It also sports an adaptive air suspension and protection system to ensure the safety of users.

The electric car also has a fantastic battery pack that can store up to 93.4 kWh and packs up to 751 horsepower.

Kia Niro

Another electric car with top-notch performance is the Kia Niro. The new car by Kia, with a stylish build, has a very long range compared to other electric vehicles. The Kia electric car has a maximum capacity of 239 miles. It is considered one of the electric cars with the most extended range.

The Kia Niro also has a speedy charging time and can attain 80% battery life in less than an hour. It can be considered a family vehicle as it has ample space for family members.

In addition, the EV has an 8-inch screen for controlling the car with a voice recognition function. You can also easily connect your smartphone to the vehicle for easy accessibility. The car comes with an excellent warranty and is very fitting for families.

Hyundai Kona

The Hyundai Kona is Hyundai’s electric version of their gas-powered Kona vehicle, released in 2018. The company decided to release an electric car featuring similar characteristics to its successful gas car.

The car is very spacious and has similar handling to sports cars. It has good mileage and comfortable seats that ensure the user has a great experience throughout their ride. The car company allows buyers to obtain a 134-hp EV or a 201-hp EV. Both with different prices.

The EV comes with a 7-inch touchscreen that controls the car’s various functions. It also has a driver-assistant system that can help users manage the vehicle easily. This user-friendly electric vehicle is Hyundai’s input into the electric car scene.

Nissan Leaf

The Nissan Leaf is a very iconic vehicle when it comes to electric cars. The reason is simple. It is the first ever electric car to be mass-produced. The Nissan Leaf was launched in 2011 and has sold more than any other electric vehicle. This is a fantastic feat.

Nissan adds more features to their product with every new Leaf generation released. As the pioneer in electric-car mass production, the Nissan leaf sports many new and exciting features with every upgrade. These features are based on reviews and complaints from existing users.

The Nissan Leaf has a range of about 226 miles and a powerful battery life. Hence, it doesn’t require charging too quickly. The EV also contains a 160 kWh electric motor. It is one of the most frequently seen electric cars in the world.

The world is fastly shifting towards electric cars. Many car companies invest in electric vehicles to hop on the new money train. Since Tesla created the first electric vehicle, other car companies have joined the race to make electric cars more enjoyable.

Companies like Nissan, Kia, and Porsche have developed their own electric vehicles with exquisite designs and excellent functions. Gone are the days when there were only Tesla electric cars. There are now many electric cars made by car companies apart from Tesla.
