Pivoting, changing tactics, and re-engineering strategies aren’t easy. With the rise of uncertainty and vigilance, maintaining business operations in 2020 was nothing short of exhausting. But we applaud the businesses with grit, ingenuity and integrity to get through it.
Each year, Better Business Bureau Serving the Pacific Southwest (BBB) honors outstanding businesses with our Torch Awards for Ethics. This award celebrates the people within the businesses who give it their all – the teams who promote core values, exceed customer expectations by delivering unforgettable customer service, and dedicate themselves to doing the right thing.
“They’ve shown up for us, now – let’s do the same for them,” says Shelley Bradley, BBB’s Director of Signature Events.
BBB offers readers to express their gratitude by nominating a business that positively impacts the community, keeping ethics at the forefront. “The voice of the consumer is a key component to sharing the day to day stories of these businesses. Customers experience first-hand the true impact of what an ethical company can offer,” Bradley says.
Reborn Cabinets, Inc., a 2020 Orange County award winner, shared that, “these unprecedented times are really a test of who you are, it tests your team and how you’re going to band together. Winning this award shows our commitment to BBB and the community, and proves our strong ethics are what make us who we are today,” says Reborn owner Anthony Nardo.
BBB is looking to honor companies who are “true leaders, paving the way to promote honesty in their industries and represent the best of the best in character and integrity,” Bradley says. A business may also self-nominate and the award is open to all for-profit businesses in Southern California.
