(Newport Beach, CA – September 14, 2022) Better Business Bureau Serving the Pacific Southwest (BBB) has named four winning companies for their 2022 BBB Torch Awards for Ethics in Orange County.
This distinguished award honors businesses that go above and beyond to operate with integrity and raise awareness about marketplace trust.
These exemplary businesses have displayed an outstanding level of commitment to ethics and trust in four categories: character, culture, customers and community.
Winners have illustrated the character of their organization’s leadership, how an authentic culture is being fostered, how their company prioritizes its relationship with customers, and the impact the organization is making in their community.
A signature event, emceed by KTLA reporter and Orange County Bureau Chief, Chip Yost, was held at the Westin Anaheim Resort where winners, finalists and community members celebrated the importance of a trustworthy marketplace.
Keynote speaker Elaine Birks-Mitchell, CEO/Chief Sustainability Officer of The Bra Recyclers, shared the reason behind the creation of her social clothing recycling company, and how the impact we make in our community is one of the biggest drivers for social entrepreneurs.
“Honesty builds trust, which is a vital aspect in the success of a business. This is the sixth year BBB has been recognizing outstanding companies in Orange County for their solid commitment to doing things the right way and we are so proud of our 2022 winning businesses,” said Shelley Bradley, Director of Signature Events for BBB Serving the Pacific Southwest.
