B0arding announces the launch of B0arding.com, a transparent and commissions-free accommodations platform.

B0arding has launched B0arding.com, a peer-to-peer accommodations platform that will allow travelers and hosts alike to avoid the high commission fees of other leading booking sites.

Whether someone needs a place to stay for a few days or a few months, the platform provides both options.

Recently more and more people have been turning to social media to express their frustration with the leading booking platform’s large and hidden fees. While the initial prices from their search looked great, by the time they were ready to book the cost had nearly doubled.

“They have a lot of great places with good prices! Then you go to checkout, and BOOM there’s a $225 cleaning fee plus a $100 service fee. Unreal! I don’t make messes worth $225 of cleaning, and a service fee? Ha, classic! No way,” one customer tweeted.

Besides commissions fees and transaction fees, there’s usually a hefty cleaning fee as well. Travelers understand the place needs to be cleaned and are grateful for the service, but the question begs why this fee can’t be included in the initial quoted price. These kinds of frustrations left the founder of B0arding wondering if there was a more transparent and economical way to do peer-to-peer lodging.

“The peer-to-peer accommodation industry has become so laden with extra charges that users have become outraged. They want price transparency, they want to save money,” says Victor Nikonets, CEO of B0arding. “Our platform provides a great booking experience but at a fair price.”

BNB hosts have as much to gain from this platform as well. The current leading platform adds anything from 14%-20% in commission fees, and – hosts claim – can sometimes deter people from booking peer-to-peer stays and choose hotels instead. No commission fess will save money for guests and those savings will result in more bookings for hosts. Whether someone wants to stay a few days or a few months, there are options.

“As a digital nomad, I have the flexibility to move around as much as I want. I used to book my stays through a different platform, but found that I was paying around 15% more on my bookings – you know, service fees. Then I found B0arding and its zero commission fees. I was able to book comparable accommodations minus the 15% markup.” – Current B0arding User

B0arding believes travelers shouldn’t have to waste time or money to book a great stay, and that hosts should get the profit they deserve from all the time and care it takes to create an excellent lodging experience. They are proud to provide a booking platform that tells it like it is, and drops the commissions so the cost remains reasonable. B0arding.com is up and running for guests and hosts to get started today.
