Must-have appliances for your kitchen

While it’s possible to cook great food without any fancy equipment, kitting out your kitchen with some high-tech gear can make all the difference to a foodie, or even a busy parent. If you’ve been thinking about improving your efficiency in the kitchen, then a new appliance might just do the trick. Regardless of whether you consider yourself something of a chef or you just want to make life easier for yourself, these appliances are a must-have.

Air Fryer

The latest food appliance craze is the air fryer. Touted as being a healthy way to eat your favorite foods, you can enjoy crispy chicken without all the unnecessary oil. While it is a different experience from deep-fried foods, it’s a great way of cutting back on your saturated fats without feeling like you’re on a diet. If you’re fed up with steaming and boiling foods, air frying is a great way to bring back some variety into the recipes you make.
Whether you’re renovating your kitchen or simply want to treat yourself to a new gadget, this list is the perfect starting point for any budding chef.

Rice Cooker

Lots of people don’t invest in a rice cooker because they think it’s easy enough to boil a few portions in a pot. But boiling rice requires a watchful eye and it’s easy to misjudge the amount of water you need for the perfect consistency. What’s more, it takes up yet another ring on the stove and can take a while to cook when you’re in a hurry. A rice cooker ensures your rice is perfectly cooked time and time again. It will never boil over or burn at the bottom if you follow the instructions. Anyone who eats rice a few times a week will benefit from this handy appliance.

… Then there is the obvious …

Dishwasher

The worst part of making a meal for your family or some guests is undoubtedly the washing up. The last thing you want to do after eating heartily is slave over the sink and be elbow deep in soap suds. A dishwasher can save you a lot of time and allows you to wake up in the morning to sparkling clean tableware instead of dried-on food. However, without proper care, your dishwasher can break down, so make sure you’re not overloading it and you’re changing filters regularly.

Investing in a high-quality dishwasher is definitely worth it. These machines will be far more efficient and long-lasting, which will ultimately save you money. So, instead of trying to find the cheapest appliances possible, you should stick to reputable and well-established home appliance companies like Maytag to find a dishwasher that will truly last. However, if you do need parts for a Maytag dishwasher that has broken down over time, then you can easily find them online.

Coffee Maker

There are few people who don’t love a good cup of coffee in the morning and nothing beats a high-quality blend. Save money and make your premium cup of java at home instead of stopping by a coffee shop on your way to work. There are hundreds of different coffee maker models out there, so pick and choose the one that suits your tastes the best. From built-in models to compact machines that can be tucked away neatly on your counter, you’re sure to find one that fits the bill.

… Don’t forget to throw in the kitchen sink …
