Conference brings together industry veterans and early-stage entrepreneurs to share expertise on growing an e-commerce business.

— an educational and inspirational one-day event for interested in launching, buying or growing an e-commerce business — unveiled its first event at the Marina Del Rey Marriott. The event featured early stage e-commerce merchants to unite for a full day of education and networking. It also focused on three key learning areas – sales and marketing, operations and financial – and are all geared toward business owners in startup, growth or agency phases of business growth.

The featured speakers were comprised of experts from top e-commerce companies including Samantha Murray from Shopify, Katie Wilson from Google E-Commerce and e-commerce 30 under 30 Influencer Marketing thought leader Eric Dahan of Open Influence.

“With the continued growth in e-commerce, and everyday are shifting focus to online opportunities, but what most don’t realize is the amount of continued education it takes too run a successful business in the changing Internet landscape,” says Phil Gorman, Founder of ECOMMevents. “E-Commerce Day provides these sellers with informative and actionable ways to launch, buy or grow an e-commerce business with a ‘talk-less, show-more’ learning approach.”

The educational one-day events will be available soon nationwide and will expand on key learning areas.

“Our agenda focuses on the ‘what’s next’ for the ecommerce industry and provides attendees with techniques to improve multiple aspects of business, from new technology and tools, customer acquisition and retention and marketing,” Gorman says. “We look at what some of the most successful brands are doing and how to mirror this to create long-term success. Our hope is that each attendee leaves with clear next steps for growing their business.”

Tickets for E-Commerce Day L.A. were priced at $155 per person with group discounts available and includes lunch, parking and a full day of workshops, keynote speakers and to some of the savviest and experienced e-commerce merchants in a single day. is recommended for events as spots are limited.
