Growing up in a small village in Pakistan, Faiz ul Hassan underwent a transformative journey that led him to become a popular figure in the nation’s digital landscape.
Self-education and determination “provided me with the only opportunities I required to build Wordsense,” he says of his digital marketing firm that focuses on SEO, social media marketing, and content creation.
Hassan ‘s story began in the early 2000s when computers and software became globally known. As a young boy in a rural village, he was fortunate to have a personal computer. His family couldn’t typically afford such luxuries, but “my parents felt it was an outlet for individual achievement,” he says.
He became self-taught in both hardware and software. “I became known as a young computer genius in my village,” he says.
“Facing financial constraints and limited access to formal education, I took on part-time jobs and side hustles, including buying and selling cell phones, to learn about business and build valuable relationships,” Hassan says.
He then used Google, Facebook, and AdSense to jumpstart his business. He mastered the technical art of earning through Google that became the foundation of Wordsense.
In 2013, the culmination of business experience and financial understanding led to the creation of Wordsense, which grew steadily year after year until the Covid Debacle, and like billions of other people, he restructured his business and is now coming off two of its most successful years.
“I believe in self-accountability and maintaining a no-victim mindset,” he says. “Continuous learning and adaptability are crucial for success. His focus on education, healthcare, and poverty alleviation led to his decision to build a school in a remote village in Punjab to “help develop Pakistan’s digital economy even further,” he says.
