Children aged 18-24 months can be introduced to high-quality media, though Dr. Christner recommends this be limited to under one hour per day and that parents co-view to ensure interactions remain educational and engaging. For preschoolers aged 2-5 years, Dr. Christner advises capping screen time to about one hour per day of high-quality programming.
