Since Everyday Health has become one of the most recognizable, credible, and trusted health media brands, reflecting the overall shift in accessing medical information that has occurred with the advent of the internet age. What started out as a health information portal on the internet has now become an award-winning health publication in America that stands out because of its medical credentials, partnerships, and a defined brand mission that is driven by a philosophy of empowerment and trust.

Starting with the early development of the brand, the Everyday Health site took a distinctly different approach to most health-related consumer sites on the Internet, where it highlighted the fact that the information on this platform was reviewed by doctors. Increasing health misinformation on the Internet led the brand to focus on the kind of editorial standards necessary for the development of accurate health-related information.

One of the most important factors in the development of the brand is the mission to “inspire and empower people to live their healthiest lives.” Unlike other brands in the industry, where healthcare is segmented as a set of individual disease states, the editorial strategy of Everyday Health includes prevention, wellness, mental health, nutrition, and management of chronic diseases.

One of the most important steps in the brand development of Everyday Health was the creation of the Health Expert Network. Today, this network consists of over 100 board-certified physicians as well as specialists related to health, patient advocates, and wellness practitioners in over 30 specialties. One of the most important steps taken by Everyday Health was the integration of medical review into the publication’s editorial process. This approach helped Everyday Health increase its recognition as an authentically medical resource. Every article created on Everyday Health is either written by experienced health journalists, healthcare professionals, or patient advocates.

With the growth of the brand, Everyday Health also placed emphasis on thorough research and transparency. Increasingly, the editorial content on the website was based on scholarly research studies, interviews with board-certified medical experts, as well as information gathered from reputable medical sources. In this regard, the brand took steps to ensure it met the requirements of professional health media, thereby acting as the bridge between research and healthcare consumers.

Strategic partnerships proved to be an impetus in enhancing the brand stature of Everyday Health. The Everyday Health Group established relations with some of the world's best medical institutions, such as Mayo Clinic and Cleveland Clinic. The group represents advertising for Mayo Clinic, which was rated as the best hospital in the world in the year 2025 by Newsweek Magazine, and Cleveland Clinic is one of its associated brands.

Brand extension also occurred outside the boundaries of the editorial content and into online tools and services that cater to the health needs of the users on a daily basis. Indeed, over the years, the website of Everyday Health has rolled out a plethora of interactive features such as a symptom checker, meal planner, drug and supplement database, and hydration, weight management, and protein calculators.

Community engagement emerged as a new hallmark of the brand. The launch of Tippi, a resource-driven platform where patients and healthcare experts can exchange tips and learn from each other’s perspectives, signified how Everyday Health strove to personalize health knowledge while also adhering to expert guidance. Additions such as quizzes, a Vaccine Planner feature, and a Find a Doctor area further extended the use of the brand to assist individuals in healthcare decision-making.

Recently, Everyday Health has been developing its branding further through its entry into reviewing products and services, such as reviews related to nutritional products, mental health services, and healthcare devices. All content produced in these reviews has to be approved by experts from the Health Expert Network, further ensuring the company’s focus on being an unbiased and accurate source of health information. Today, Everyday Health has established itself as a reliable Internet health brand based on credibility, expertise, and trust with consumers. This is a result of the effort to integrate journalistic excellence with tools and partnerships—to make Everyday Health a major player in the health information sector as well as an indispensable resource in the new health landscape.
