Equipment Rental Website Builders to Create Your Business Website

In the early 2000s, people did not have any other option than buying even short-term usage products. As a result, they started hoarding equipment which rested idle in sheds and warehouses. The rise of the rental economy has changed this fact. Now, with the emergence of so many rental businesses, it is easy & more convenient to rent some types of equipment than buying. This is particularly true for the heavy equipment industry where contractors highly prefer renting equipment over buying.

Further propelling growth in the industry are global construction projects by both public and private organizations, particularly in the North America & Middle East region. However, to capitalize on the lucrative opportunity, entrepreneurs require a rental website builder or solution that they can use to start their rental business operations.

Names of some renowned website builders

YoRent

YoRent is a fully customizable white label rental website builder with advanced functionalities to support all essential operations at the backend. What makes it different from the rest of the builders is that it is a self-hosted software available at a one-time cost. This way, it is easy to recover your investment. Furthermore, Yo!Rent supports all types of rental niches & business models including B2C, B2B, P2P, single-vendor and multi-vendor operations.

Features

  • Advanced booking calendar
  • RFQ
  • Rental agreement & eSign
  • Late returns management
  • Product Comparison
  • Mult-lingual & multi-currency

Sharetribe

Sharetribe is another renowned rental website builder with multi-vendor capabilities. While it is a SaaS software with predefined packages, it also comes with a fully customizable version marketed as Sharetribe The Flex package is also available as a subscription package. Like YoRent, Sharetribe is also highly scalable.

Features
  • Order management
  • Booking calendar
  • In-built messaging
  • Multi-lingual support
Price
  • Sharetribe Flex starts from $299 per month & goes up to $300,000 per month depending on your monthly transaction volume

Arcadier

Arcadier is mainly a marketplace website builder that supports rental operations. By enabling the ‘Be a Seller’ option on Arcadier, it can be used to launch single vendor websites as well. In terms of functionality, Arcadier brings all necessary features required to manage medium size to enterprise level operations.

  • Shipping module

HireHop

HireHop is a Saas website builder that helps business owners in launching robust rental stores with a highly-intuitive interface. It also comes with advanced back-end functionalities to manage rental operations seamlessly. The only downside to HireHop is that its backend interface looks a bit outdated in comparison to other rental website builders.

Features
  • Rental booking calendar
  • Job calendar
  • Order management
  • Inventory management
  • Email integration
Price
  • Paid version available at $46/month with 5 GB storage.

Conclusion

All aforementioned rental software are more than sufficient to launch captivating rental websites. However, some software might perform better than other software depending on the entrepreneur’s business requirements. For example, self-hosted solutions are better if an entrepreneur is looking for a long term usage software as they are often available at a one-time cost. On the other hand, entrepreneurs who only require a rental website for a while can rely on SaaS software.
