Alternative Online Payment Methods to PayPal

If you are looking for a PayPal payment alternative for minors, they are becoming more available than ever before.

Online gaming and shopping have become so inundated into our society, we can often take payment methods for granted. Among the most popular payment methods for sites such as Neteller Casino is PayPal.

PayPal has become the top payment method and is accepted almost anywhere, but it is not the only one. More and more people are turning to PayPal as an alternative method to access online games and worldwide shopping. Here are some of the most important alternative payment methods you need to know about.

Payoneer

This app offers a quick and easy setup model that offers a prepaid Mastercard. The card maintains a fixed activation fee and allows you to take money directly from your account and place it onto the card. The main benefit to Payoneer is the ability to use your card at any ATM that accepts Mastercard. The downside comes in when you have to pay fees such as ATM fees, and their customer service has been known to be spotty at times.

Dwolla

Dwolla is an excellent option for those who use online gaming sites. It provides a very low transaction fee of just 25 cents and offers instant cash transfers, unlike PayPal, which can take its time transferring money from your account. Dwolla has substantial benefits to gamers, but the only downside to its use is that it is not as recognized as other payment methods, so it can be difficult to find sites that accept this particular payment method.

Skrill

Ultimate protection of your money is the ultimate goal of Skill. Where that is great for optimal security, it has also been part of Skrill’s worst attributes. Users have reported frozen accounts frequently due to simple mistakes, and getting the account up and running again can be difficult as customer service is not always quick to solve customer issues. However, the flat fee of 1% and being able to use the platform virtually anywhere in the world makes it a true contender in the alternative payment method genre.

Amazon Payments

In our modern world, it seems as though we can do almost anything through Amazon, and now we can even use it to pay for items online. Amazon Payments has proven to be among, and most versatile payment methods, and patrons can use the service completely free for the first $1000 in transactions each month. Additionally, Amazon Payments offer the same security that its online store does, so it is very safe. The only downside to this payment method is the fact that it is only available in the United States. Given time, however, even this downside will likely vanish.

Google Wallet

No need to take your wallet with you when you have Google Wallet. This method allows you to keep track of your cards in your wallet through your mobile device. As per Google regulations, the method is very safe, but just like with Amazon Payments, it is currently only available for those in the United States.

Excellent PayPal Alternatives for Minors

If you are looking for a PayPal payment alternative for minors, they are becoming more available than ever before. Although Payoneer and similar payment methods are available for use in minors, the best option remains in prepaid cards. Worldwide, it is estimated that 41% of transactions come from prepaid card methods. These cards remain the best option for teaching children about online transactions and what it means to be responsible with money when shopping online.

Prepaid cards, depending on the type used, may even offer online tracking for parents to help ensure minors are making the right purchases. These cards can be purchased in most retail establishments and come in varieties, such as Green Dot Mastercard or Google Play cards. They act like gift cards, so the child is not able to overdraft an account but can reload the card when necessary.

Various payment methods offer a great alternative to PayPal and if you have been disappointed recently by simply using the old standard, try out one of these payment methods. As for the kids, it is best to start them out slow with prepaid options, so you do not end up paying additional transaction fees or having overdraft fees associated with your personal banking account.
