FortWorth Doctor offers Medical Students Lifelong Advantages with Hands on Medical Training! ScribeNest
Dallas, Texas – Although an excellent physician, Elliott Trotter MD, people had a hard time reading his handwriting.
In 1995, medical charting changed and Dr. Trotter hired 5 TCU pre-med students to shadow him in the emergency room and record his patient interactions. Soon, Trotter discovered that not only was his notes legible, but the Scribe significantly improved the efficiency of over patient care. Scribes loved the experience as did patients.
It wasn’t long before other physicians began requesting that Trotter find scribes for them, and the first modern Scribe program was born. It expanded across the US.
Decades later, that ripple effect is responsible for the hundreds of scribe programs and millions of positive patient doctor interactions.
Many of those who were local scribes went on to become Physicians and can attribute the early success in medicine to being a Trotter scribe.
Today, Dr. Trotter re-enters the field as he launches ScribeNest, a return to his core values of wellness, mentoring , and scribe happiness. He has added next gen Lisa Williford MD ( a former scribe) and Janie Sanders MD to continue this mission forward. Says Trotter, “Our mantra is Happy Scribes , Happy Doctors. That symbiotic relationship and our 17 core principles of wellness is what makes ScribeNest different”
