Santa Clarita offers the epitome of South Californian living, with its stunning weather, beautiful views, must-see tourist spots, and – of course – near endless opportunities for shopping and dining out in style.

If you’re looking for the pinnacle of fine-dining experiences in Santa Clarita, then keep reading as we round up the creme de la creme below.

Le Chene

This unique restaurant has been delighting diners in Santa Clarita for the last twenty years and remains one of the area’s most popular eateries. Guests can enjoy French-inspired cuisine either in the beautiful indoor dining space or seated on the oak-surrounded patio. Le Chene has been voted the Most Romantic Restaurant by both Los Angeles Daily News and LA Magazine and is regularly host to weddings, as well as other private events.

The exterior of the restaurant resembles a small fairytale castle, complete with a waterwheel and verdant trellises; guests can enjoy a pre-dinner drink at the bar, which overlooks the lush gardens of the establishment.

The food itself is exquisite at Le Chene: dinner, brunch, and bar menus are offered, and examples of the delights that can be ordered include European Sea Bass Almondine, Veal Chop with Moriles, and Lobster Le Chene. Indulge in desserts like Strawberry Feuilette or a selection of homemade sorbets to round off the evening. As well as the delicious food, Le Chene has a sublime cellar and continues to receive regular awards for their wine list.

The Old Town Junction

Opened in 2018 by Daniel Otto – who’s been named Santa Clarita’s Best Chef six times – this restaurant offers fine dining focused on seasonal specialties and a vintage American vibe. The commercial furniture used throughout the dining space reflects this rustic style, adding to the relaxed, charming style that fuses the classic with the contemporary.

When it comes to the food, The Old Town Junction is unparalleled. Starters on offer include the Cheese and Charcuterie Board, Bavarian Pretzels, and Pork Belly Toast, while diners can feast on main courses such as Shrimp Diablo, Slo Roasted Prime Rib, or Creamy Mushroom Risotto.

This restaurant is one of the most prestigious in the area, and, if you’re looking for a special meal out, reserving a table here won’t disappoint.

Sabor Cocina Mexicana

Described as a post-modern, pan-Mexican restaurant, Sabor Cocina has been tempting diners through its doors since opening in 2000. The eatery specializes in taking Mexican standards and giving them a modern, innovative twist, such as their deconstructed Sopa de Tortilla, and offered up to diners in a manner reminiscent of a traditional British high tea.

The restaurant owners remain committed to discovering some of the most unique flavors from across Mexico and incorporating them into their dishes, often in surprising ways. The interior of the dining space reflects this wonderfully eclectic vibe, resembling a treasure trove of traditional decor and images that fuse with contemporary styling elements.

Sabor Cocina has a no-reservation policy – it’s walk-ins only here. Appetizers include Street Quesadilla and Ceviche, and diners can choose between a range of tortillas, tacos, burritos, and platillos fuertes for the main course.

Piccola Trattoria

Enjoy fine dining inspired by the flavors of the Mediterranean at this upmarket Santa Clarita establishment that has just opened at a second location in the area. The food here is both delicious and impeccably presented, fusing Mediterranean classics with rustic American fare, such as Tagliatelli di Bistecca, which combines pasta and Arugula salad with a hearty ten-ounce New York steak.

Consistently rated as excellent for both food and service, Piccola Trattoria offers a welcoming, cozy atmosphere that also makes it the perfect choice for a special night out or a celebratory dinner.

Wolf Creek

An enduring popular choice for diners in Santa Clarita, a visit to Wolf Creek makes for a wonderful and unique dining experience. Famous dishes include the Blue Cheese and Fig Pizza and the gourmet-style Fish and Chips.

The drinks list is a sight to behold, too: as well as a range of high-quality white and red wine; diners may also be tempted to try the strawberry champagne on offer. Stouts, pale ales, or a simple but delicious cup of tea can all also be ordered.

Both indoor and outdoor seating is available, and the service at this establishment is consistently rated as being second-to-none. The ambiance is peaceful and intimate, making it a great choice for a romantic evening out as well as for a relaxed lunch with friends or family.

Pink Salt Grill Restaurant

This eatery is a palace of delights for those that love Filipino food; diners can choose to be seated inside or enjoy the sun on the outdoor patio. Offering Filipino food with a twist, the Pink Salt Grill combines traditional flavors with contemporary classics and uses the freshest ingredients possible in their dishes.

The restaurant’s name comes from the pink salt that they use in their culinary creations to create healthier, but just as flavorsome, offerings. Breakfast. Lunch and dinner are served daily, and catering can be provided, too.
