For small to medium-scale enterprises, the choice of an ERP can be between power and feasibility. SAP Business One and Oracle NetSuite have been hailed as leaders with regard to scalability and comprehensiveness. These ERPs can be quite pricey with longer implementation cycles. For many small to medium-scale enterprises with small IT teams or at least less-than-world-class IT support, such ERPs can be more of a liability. This is not the case with ECOUNT ERP, which is a cloud-based software developed in South Korea. It is a fully functional software with easy accessibility at a fraction of the price.
One of the strongest selling points of ECOUNT is its pricing structure. Unlike SAP or NetSuite solutions, which usually require licenses per user and also include costs of implementation and consulting services, as well as other software modules, ECOUNT charges companies a rate of $55 per month, regardless of the number of users. Features ranging from accounting to inventory management, sales and purchasing, manufacturing management, payroll processing, human resource management, CRM, and electronic approvals are included with training and support services. This means that small to medium enterprises can save as much as tens of thousands of dollars per year.
A key factor here is also the simplicity of the price structure and functionality offered by ECOUNT. In contrast to SAP and NetSuite solutions, it is not necessary to consider numerous add-ons and tiers of licensing. This is especially crucial during the process of implementation.
Speed of implementation is another aspect where ECOUNT shines. As a completely cloud-based software solution, it does not require the setting up of servers or IT infrastructure at the organization's end. This means that companies can implement the software solutions in days and not months. Also, it is possible to implement their configurations without needing to write codes or seek the help of external consultants. This is not usually the case with SAP or NetSuite solutions.
The platform’s interface is quite user-friendly. It is possible to configure workflow, forms, and report parameters through simple setting menus without resorting to scripts or assistance from developers. This makes it possible for small teams to tailor the system to their operational needs without their work processes becoming needlessly complex.
Although it is less expensive, it is not less functional. It includes essential features such as accounting, inventory control, purchasing, sales management, and production management. Any business transaction made within one component automatically generates related activities within other components. A sales order, for instance, will automatically generate inventory adjustment and accounting entries.
Manufacturers might also see advantages in ECOUNT’s more advanced functionalities, such as Bill of Materials (BOM) management, manufacturing scheduling, and cost calculation, typically found in more advanced SAP or NetSuite solutions. Other functionalities, such as support for multicurrency accounting, inventory scanning and tracking, automated bank reconciliation, and real-time reporting allow small businesses to have the same level of insight and effectiveness enjoyed by larger companies.
Its mobile support is completely integrated. Managers and their employees can check their reports, confirm transactions, and view their performance through smartphones or tablets. All the above-mentioned features of ECOUNT software make it highly suitable for companies with employees working away from headquarters or for executives who travel.
Another factor is the support model offered by ECOUNT. All forms of training and support services are offered to users form part of the subscription service. This service employs a continuous upgrade model that is included in users’ subscriptions. It incorporates continuous upgrades and is driven by feedback. Customers of SAP and NetSuite services have to pay support charges and subscription costs, in addition to paying charges for upgrades. Version upgrades in SAP and NetSuite also involve re-implementation.
In medium and small-scale business enterprises, especially those related to manufacturing, storage, and service companies, ECOUNT can offer 80-90% of the functionality of enterprise software solutions like SAP and NetSuite at a relatively lower price. This makes ECOUNT a suitable option for business enterprises in their pursuit of operational effectiveness without paying for and managing the typical enterprise-level ERPs. ECOUNT ERP proves that business software can be affordable and simple to implement and can still produce outstanding results.
