Alex Kleyner, founder and CEO of Store 2 Door, created his business from the vision that there is an abundance of great products available for sale at the retail level in North America.

From Los Angeles, where some of world’s best produce and fruits are produced, to Miami, which has products among the highest safety, Store 2 Door was created to allow clients all over the world to purchase American goods seamlessly through superior logistics, shipping, and delivery of U.S. products that are often limited in the rest of the world.

“Think of us as the future international Amazon fulfillment that handles orders for the middle east right here in America,” says Kleyner, who is opening first store office in Miami in the coming months.

Here is the following Q&A of the CEO.

Q: How will you make customers rave about Store 2 Door?

A: We provide a solution to a problem that consumers have but haven’t found a great solution to. We’ve heard of consumers overseas who said they are indebted to us for saving them countless hours of working on logistics and a few who even said they had flown to America to purchase goods to bring back home. But due to COVID-19, this has made the task more difficult.

Q: What is your hiring philosophy?

A: We have employees from all walks of life and from all over the world. Some feel like celebrities who live on Sunset Island and others are immigrants who came here just a few years ago. It’s important that we have a diverse team because we have diverse customers and want to understand them from the ground up something not all companies in the tech space can say. Our hiring philosophy from Day 1 was having a diverse staff. We have even received global accreditation from some of the leading online stores such as Amazon.

Q: What is the most important element to your company’s success?

A: Having an open-minded team and policies. Our team is open to new ideas and isn’t afraid to pivot if something goes wrong. We have an open-door policy. We possess radical transparency and principles that we’ve learned from our other companies’ successes.

Q: What advice can you give entrepreneurs starting out on a new venture?

A: Be a pioneer. We’ve built an international logistics company for a niche market. It’s an idea that many have but nobody has actually built up yet. It takes ingenuity, being bold, sticking to your dream and values and never backing down.

There are always challenges but how you face adversity is the  important factor. Not everybody will agree with you. We work with nations that have nationalist mentality and we also work with non-national immigrants who came here for a better life. Our job is to help everybody we can and build an honest business with a great product and service offering. Look to do the same without going deep into debt.

In today’s fast changing business environment, you have to stay abreast of things. There’s too much movement and changes. We setup a Google Alerts for our targeted keywords and ignore the noise. That’s critical in being a good smart leader is believing in what you’re doing and do as you say.

Transparency and doing as you tell your staff you’re going to do leads to faith in following the path towards success. There are always issues that need to be resolved. We have a one strike policy here where if you make a mistake, it’s a big warning but don’t set our company back again. It’s not easy sometimes to keep your sanity in a competitive business environment. Every day is a new mission and new problem that we get to solve. That keeps our motivation and sanity up.

Q: What is the impact of Store2Door?

A: There is nothing as fulfilling as having your order delivered on time. At Store2Door, our standard of service revolves around ensuring that we fast-track our deliveries to our customers. We are extremely keen at ensuring that you get your order in a record 30 minutes.

There can be nothing as good as receiving fresh groceries for your family or guests and Store2Door is here to do just that: to bring them to you when you need them most. This is what distinguishes Store2Door as the best alternative fresh local market store. Our channel assistants have always ensured that they stay on course so that customers get exactly what they need; fresh, clean, and healthy grocery supplies.

Ever been faced with a challenging scenario in which you got home late after a long day only to realize there’s nothing to prepare for your family or guests? We have all been in such a situation and the feeling that comes with it can be so distressing. We’ve altered that mindset.
