Founded by Jordan Benston, Oracle Media is a Black female-owned full-service production company known for creating custom-curated digital, linear, and editorial content to major media companies and celebrities.
Benston’s most recent project, “I’m Really Like That,” has received significant attention due to its collaboration with DJ Drama and its reenactment of scenes from the legendary hip-hop film “Juice,” and includes five video clips featuring original actors like Queen Latifah, Khalil Kain, Omar Epps, Jermaine Hopkins, along with Jim Jones and Chinese Kitty. The content quickly went viral.
“This project was one of the most significant undertakings as a producer,” Benston says. “We had to prepare for a club scene with Queen Latifah in just 48 hours, and the other scenes were shot in a single day, with long hours on set.”
Benston is highly regarded in the industry for knowing the ins and outs of production and ensuring a productive and enjoyable work environment. She has worked with ESSENCE, BET, MTV, VH1, REVOLTtv, AppleTV+, Urban One and Andscape before launching Oracle Media.
Benston’s five-year plan with Oracle Media includes creating original content such as scripted series, docu-series, and documentaries. “Our dedication,” she says, “is to producing intriguing and riveting content.”
