Many believe that AI will become the dominant form of technology in the years ahead. This belief and the supposed technological experience many intrinsically think is tied to it often prevent interested entrepreneurs from entering the field.
Dhaval Bhatt, the CEO of AI Product Accelerator, wants to change that narrative while helping professionals leave behind their unfulfilling careers.
Seeing Patterns, Without the Commercialization Behind Them
Dhaval Bhatt began building AI products on his own while working full-time, all with no funding and no team behind them. While these products eventually generated real income, he realized that most professionals with valuable expertise often had no idea how to turn that knowledge into something useful they could monetize.
While developing his business at AI Product Accelerator, Bhatt taught AI Product development at UC Berkeley, teaching students the nuts and bolts of building. However, he kept seeing the same pattern each time: people could build but did not know how to commercialize.
“The go-to-market piece was always missing. Add to that the broader shift we’re seeing: AI accelerating fast, white-collar roles becoming less stable, and a massive gap between what AI models can do and what’s actually being built, and the path forward became obvious,” Bhatt says.
Changing the Narrative of AI
Smart, capable builders often understand the technical nuances of code but do not have a roadmap for launching or monetization. Bhatt, who saw this repeatedly at Product HQ while teaching over 8,000 students how to develop real-world product skills, was inspired to launch AI Product Accelerator, where he helps people harness knowledge and technology to make something profitable.
“The consistent pattern was clear: technical know-how wasn’t enough. People needed support in turning ideas into actual income,” Bhatt shares.
Despite this, AI entrepreneurship’s skepticism, often seen as fringe or unstable, usually deters people from venturing into these fields. To combat this, Bhatt offers a practical path forward.
“I don’t push hype, and I don’t pretend AI is magic,” he explains. “In a market flooded with noise, I help people cut through it and actually ship.”
Designing for Scale and Depth
Bhatt knows that building a launch track for early-stage founders will ultimately influence the growth track for high-performing operators.
“One fuels the ecosystem, the other sharpens it,” Bhatt notes.
The long-term vision for AI Product Accelerator is not only to evolve it into a category-defining ecosystem where founders can receive coaching but also to allow them to access capital, quality-vetted talent, and product tools. All while offering strategic support to entrepreneurs with the skills they need to harness newfound technological knowledge.
“I want to operate from depth, not volume,” Bhatt concludes.
As someone interested in impact rather than chasing mass reach, Bhatt aims to shape how the next generation of AI-native businesses is built. He wants to make AI useful for people who know how to harness its capabilities and to help entrepreneurs create something that can help them gain financial independence, all while preventing them from being disrupted.
