Across the world, sports betting has seen huge growth, especially now with the ease of gambling restrictions within the biggest continental countries of the world, the US. Adding the US into the mix offered up far more revenue at the end of the quarter than any other time in history, particularly after the last Super Bowl. However, the beauty of betting on sports now, is the fact that any sport is open for betting opportunities. Between local, regional, and international tournaments, comes multiple teams with multiple odds that can be shopped for by enthusiastic punters.

Usually, eSports gambling is often taken part using online betting apps and resources. CSGO betting is another source of betting stream on the market today, that offers the opportunity of betting on more than just sports, but gaming related betting too. The perception that many have of the world on online sports betting is changing by the day, and now that gambling has become more accessible in the US, financial experts believe that the US will overshadow European gambling markets massively in the next few years.

With the popularity for eSports and gambling on virtual gaming and sports tournaments really hitting it off, the American market is predicted to have the most success when it comes to adopting all forms of betting streams. Despite the US coming pretty late on the market, there are sparks flying when it comes to the uptake of the US and this betting market. It would seem that the US is very enthusiastic about exploring all avenues where gambling is concerned, and eSports is the young fresh take when it comes to competitive nature and tournament value.

It would also appear that some of the best gaming talent comes from this region of the world, therefore knowing how patriotic some can be, it would make every sense that Americans would want to back the talented gamers that come from American soil itself.

Technology is advancing

With technology advancing, it also makes eSports betting all the more accessible and entertaining. Tech nowadays offers bettors a front row seat when it comes to supporting physical and virtual tournaments, including VAR technology that is on top of its game when it comes to functioning fairness within competitive oppositions.

While the world is continuously being revolutionised by this, the amazing gaming opportunities within gaming too, be it 3D and augmented reality, more and more gamers are invested in taking their competitive nature for the long run. What this means is that prize pools for tournaments in League of Legends, Fortnite, CSGO and so on, are only getting bigger.

The market coverage for these is getting bolder, bookmakers and sports betting entities are finding it harder and harder to not include these tournaments within the predictions, as already, so many eyes are watching from all over the world. So why wouldn’t the US practically jump at the opportunity? Especially due to the fact that for so many years, it has been illegal and practically impossible to gamble, without the idea of entertaining offshore gambling, which was a huge felony in many states across the internet.

Now however, we are seeing eSports with a new set of eyes within the US market. After showing such great promise in very little time, it would make every sense that electronic sports would take the lead alongside live sports betting, due to the popularity and the immense interest over the past pandemic years.

There is a reason why Forbes and other financially driven media outlets believe that the US will continue to push the boundaries of betting and revenues for the next half a decade. Gambling has taken a new journey entirely, now that blockchain technology, esports and Web 3.0 are pretty much an all-in-one package for online digital users. Times are exciting, and equally as motivated. It would definitely seem that the US is only just getting started with its eSports enthusiasm, and there is plenty more coming along the horizon.
