Stake.com has become a victim of a million-dollar heist, with reports indicating that the crypto casino has lost over $41 million in cryptocurrency.
The first news regarding the hack was posted on X (former Twitter) by the company Cyvers Alerts.
The company announced that the hack took place because of a private key leak, after which the crypto casino lost $16 million on the Ethereum network and another $25.6 million through Polygon and Binance Smart Chain.
All of the stolen funds have been converted into ETH and distributed across multiple digital wallets.
Surprisingly enough, the casino continued operation just 5 hours after the incident.
