Moment drink was established by Aisha Chottani and Faheem Kajee, who are a husband and wife duo and the drink manufacturers . Both have numerous years of experience in positions as management consultants.
Moment is a brand of adaptogenic drinks that contains no GMOs and no carbonation and is caffeine-free, fat-free, sugar-free, and Keto friendly. On top of that, their drinks can have as little as 9 calories.
Adaptogenic drinks are a more natural way to manage stress, fatigue, and poor sleep, amongst other ailments. They can help you regain or retain balance in times of stress by diminishing the number of stress hormones released. Every adaptogen can help you in a different way.

What Inspired Moment?
Moment was started because its founders wanted to make the feeling of meditation accessible to anyone, especially given the stressful society we live in.
One of its founders, Aisha, noticed the differences in the way she felt when she consumed sugar and caffeine versus when she swapped her snacks for adaptogens and meditation. She had been working long hours and non-stop days, and this change and her diet helped her get through those days easier. It gave her a similar feeling to the one she felt when she was meditating, a practice she fell into while attending Harvard.
It was a feeling she wanted to share. Many of the ingredients found in moments were inspired by home. She grew up in Pakistan, and she watched her mother regularly use these natural ingredients.
Learning and sharing cultures are one of the most important things about Moment that makes it special to Aisha. Each of the classic drinks of Moment comes from a different culture Aisha experienced. The Tulsi Lemon flavor was inspired by a popular beverage in Pakistan; the inspiration for the Rooibos Blood Orange came from the time Aisha spent with her partner in South Africa. The Hibiscus Dragon Fruit was inspired by their honeymoon travels through Southeast Asia, where dragon fruit is common in popular drinks.
Shark Tank
On November 30, 2020, both founders of Moment appeared on Shark Tank, an American business reality television series that opens the floor to entrepreneurs to make business presentations to a panel of five investors called “sharks.” If the investors like the service or product, they’ll either accept the entrepreneur’s proposal or make one of their own.
The drink was widely popular with the investors, and it seemed to be popular with consumers as well; after having only been launched for a month and a half, the company had managed to make $15,000 in sales. However, the sharks were turned off of the drink when Aisha and Faheem shared that they wanted to create a subscription model for Moment. The Sharks warned that a subscription model never worked out well for beverage and food companies, and so Moment left without a deal or offer.
Now
Even though Moment didn’t leave the show with a deal, the company is still up and running today. Not even the covid-19 pandemic could put a stop to them; moments was named one of the top 45 Food Startups and won Best Startup Beverage at the BevNET New Beverage Showdown 2020.
Though the Covid-19 pandemic is over, people all over America are still dealing with stress and distractions. Because being accessible online eliminates geographical constraints for customers, Moment Drink is available and reachable to everyone who needs it. Moment’s goal is to bring different parts of the world together.
